KYBER SmartNote –A proprietary stationery of O-RID KYBER was launched on 16 September 2011. It looks no different from an ordinary note. You can use normal pen and write in a normal way. Once you are done writing, use your phone's camera to take a photo and upload it. In a few minutes, the written characters from the image will be digitized accurately and stored in your personal online KYBER account. With the converted digital data, you can freely use and manipulate it that fits your needs.

Activation Procedure for iPhone
Go for "Activation" after you purchase the KYBER SmartNote. Then you can use the digitization service for your handwriting
- Search "KYBER" from App Store, download it (grey icon).
If you are the first time user, follow the instructions for account registration
» You can register your account from here. - After Application startup, tap the "Activation" button on the lower left corner
- In photo mode, snap the *1)QR code from the purchased note to activate.
- Start writing a note on KYBER SmartNote and send to KYBER. All the text will be digitized. You can now use the digitized text for email or other purposes.

*1) The application does not support iPod Touch and iPad2's built-in camera due to low resolution capabilities in making a clear photo.

Reminder when using KYBER SmartNote
> Note: Accidentally photo taking an empty page and uploaded is considered one used Digital Order.
> Once activated, the possible Digital Orders will be added and show on the screen. Please confirm the appropriate size.
> When taking a photo, you can choose 2 types of shooting mode:

You can shoot anything you like such as notes, landscapes, business cards, etc. but you need to purchase Digital Order to digitize your files.
> Character or text may not be recognized if you write across the solid line, however, it is safe to write across the dotted line.

» Why you should not write across the solid line?
The system will read the solid line as a separation of the page once photo is taken, and also, increase the speed and accuracy of digitizing. Moreover, the content will be divided into smaller pieces for commitment to security so that the input operators will not know the contents.
Examples that can be used - Personal or Business:
- Memo the contact number but quite troublesome to key in.
- With KYBER SmartNote, you can ask the person to write his or her contact information on it. All you need is just tap on the button, the digitized result will then can be exported in your Address Book.
- Being asked to immediately make a report or provide meeting minutes out of your miscellaneous notes from a meeting.
- Using KYBER SmartNote, retyping is not necessary. Even with scribble words, all will be digitized. You just need to copy and paste the digitized text and it will become an instant meeting minutes!
- Can it be used on Twitter or Facebook?
- Of course. After creating your own KYBER account, write on KYBER SmartNote, take photo then export it. There is no need to waste time on typing.
